TEBBIT App Version (1.3.0) Officially Launches Event Prediction Trading, Unlocking a Brand-New Trading Experience.

1. What Is a Prediction Market?

A Prediction Market is a market centered around trading the outcome of events. Each event has two opposing outcomes, usually:

“Yes (Will Happen)” and “No (Will Not Happen)”, for example:

• “Will the home team win this match?” → Yes / No

• “Will a team score more than 2.5 goals in the full match?” → Yes / No

Its key differences from traditional odds markets / betting are:

Comparison Item Traditional Odds Betting Prediction Market (This Product)
Counterparty Bookmaker (Platform acts as the house) Other users (Platform only provides matching and market-making services)
Pricing Fixed odds determined by the bookmaker Prices fluctuate in real time based on market supply and demand (similar to stock prices)
Early Exit Generally not allowed; positions must be held until settlement Shares can be sold at any time to take profit or cut losses before settlement
Profit Source Odds × Principal Buy shares at a lower price and profit through settlement or by selling at a higher price

2. Core Concepts

2.1 Outcome Shares

What you buy is not a “bet slip,” but shares of a specific outcome. After the event ends:

• Shares of the correct outcome → Each share pays out 1 USDT

• Shares of the incorrect outcome → Each share becomes worthless (0 USDT)

2.2 Prediction Price = Implied Probability = Odds

The share price of each outcome fluctuates between 0 and 1 USDT. This price represents the market’s estimated probability of that outcome occurring:

• Yes share price = 0.40 USDT = The market estimates approximately a 40% chance that it will happen

• At this time, the No share price ≈ 0.60 USDT (the sum of both is approximately 1)

2.3 How Much Can One Share Earn?

Since each correct share ultimately pays out 1 USDT:

Net Profit per Share = 1 − Purchase Price

If you buy 1 share at 0.40 USDT and predict correctly → It pays out 1 USDT, generating a net profit of 0.60 USDT per share (150% return).

The lower the price (the less favored the outcome), the higher the odds and potential profit.

The higher the price, the lower the odds and the more “stable” it is considered.

A simple way to remember: Price = Probability. The cheaper the share, the greater the potential upside. Profit = (1 − Price) × Number of Shares.

3. Settlement and Profit & Loss

• During the event: Your position appears under “Current Positions” with a status of Pending Settlement, displaying real-time odds and estimated profit.

• Event ends → The platform determines the result based on the official event outcome.

• Settlement: Shares of the correct outcome pay 1 USDT per share, while shares of the incorrect outcome become worthless. The status changes to Settled and is marked as Profit or Loss. The position is then moved to “Position History.”

• Settlement funds are automatically credited to your account, and a “Settlement” record can be viewed in Transaction History.

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I change my mind after buying?
Yes. In the prediction market, you can sell your shares at the current market price and exit early without waiting for the event to end.

Q: Why does the price keep changing?
Price = The market’s real-time probability assessment of an outcome. It fluctuates with event developments and market supply and demand, similar to stock prices.

Q: Why did I receive more or less when selling compared to when I bought?
Sales are executed at the current market price. If the price rises, you earn the difference; if it falls, you incur a loss. Fees and slippage are also included.

Q: What is the minimum purchase amount?
The minimum purchase is 1 share. Share precision is 2 decimal places (the maximum purchasable quantity depends on your available balance and the real-time price).

Q: How is profit calculated?
Net Profit per Share = 1 − Purchase Price
Total Profit = Number of Shares × (1 − Purchase Price)

Q: How long does settlement take?
Settlement is completed after the event ends and the official result is confirmed (usually very quickly). The status changes from “Pending Settlement” to “Settled.”
