【Important Security Notice】Beware of “Eastern Europe Malware Database” Credential Theft

Recently, the TEBBIT Security Team has detected that some users’ login credentials and two-factor authentication data may have been compromised by malicious software (known as the “Eastern Europe Malware Database”, such as RedLine, Raccoon, Lumma, etc.).

 

These viruses mainly target browser caches, email passwords, Google Authenticator keys, and crypto wallet files, uploading the data to underground servers for sale and later use in attacks on major platforms.

 

1. Main Infection Channels

Fake airdrop tools, wallet “enhancers,” and cracked software installers Fake Chrome / Telegram extensions (e.g., “Wallet Helper,” “Crypto Airdrop Checker”) Phishing links from Telegram, Discord, or Weibo impersonating verification sites Infected browsers’ auto-sync features (password and autofill data sync)

 

2. User Security Recommendations

Full system scan using legitimate antivirus (Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, ESET) Reset security credentials: change your password on Tebbit, rebind Google Authenticator, and verify your email/phone security Avoid downloading unknown tools or entering credentials on unofficial sites Enable multi-factor authentication and always double-check withdrawal addresses

4. If You Suspect Infection

If your account shows abnormal logins or withdrawal errors, contact customer service immediately for account locking and malware removal assistance.
